General maintenance of timber products

As with all hardwood or softwood joinery it needs regular maintenance, so all products should be ether painted or stained with good quality paints and stains, our windows come with a preservative and primer coat prior to delivery, collection or installation.
In general you will need to build up a least four to five layers of paints after installation is complete. It is advisable you get a professional  painter and decorator to do this work.
